I have just managed to hang Carla’s portrait in the intended position and we are delighted with the result.
I am sitting in the matching tub chair opposite the pictures so have the identical view to the one you now see.

Crackington Haven in Cornwall.
The painting of Carla was a commission from a customer who lives at Almondsbury near Bristol in South Gloucestershire. Carla was painted at Crackington Haven Beach near Bude in Cornwall. The Oil on Canvas was framed in a hand made custom 2” reverse. The frame was requested to match an existing frame in the same bespoke colour, as can be seen in the photo above.
Crackington Beach is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Crackington Haven is a small village on the north Cornish coast just west of Bude.
Once a small harbour importing coal and limestone from Wales. Today it is a small unspoiled, almost secret cove that is dominated by majestic cliffs and offering a stretch of golden sand, along with rock pools, when the tide is out.
Bude is a seaside town in north east Cornwall. It was sometimes known as Bude Haven. It lies southwest of Stratton, south of Flexbury and Poughill, and north of Widemouth Bay.
