A portrait painting of a Dalmatian called Freckles from Tinwell near the town of Stamford in Lincolnshire.
Freackles was an absolute delight to paint and I enjoyed the challenge of capturing his black and white spotted coat. I went to his home in Tinwell to meet him and take some photographs for this project.
Freckles the Dalmatian is painted on Daler Rowny line and wash watercolour board in gouache. The painting was bespoke framed at our picture framing workshop in Exton in Rutland.
