The Goring Hotel is located in Belgravia in central London near Buckingham Palace. I was commissioned to do artwork for the main dining room after its refurbishment in 2024.
For The Goring Hotel, 15 Beeston Place, London. SW1W 0JW, in London’s Belgravia, I was commissioned to paint this unusual portrait of four generations of the Goring family, to be in a band dressed as the Beatles. I painted the family in oils on a 40″ x 40″ square canvas. Our framing business supplied the 3.5″ ornate English Hand made Swept frame here at our framing workshop at Exton in Rutland. I thoroughly enjoyed this challenge, not only to capture one family members likeness is an accomplishment in itself but to capture all four generations, I feel is an astounding acheivement. This painting totals eleven that I was commissioned to create that now hang in the newly furbished dining room in The Goring Hotel, a place where Royals and famous faces frequent regularly.
