Dear Penny,
We have finally got Scamper with us. We want to thank you both for everything.
The portrait was beautiful as it is so real… so perfect… all of it the expression in
his eyes, the colours, the background. Thank you for giving it your best.

And John for helping us decide and completing the portrait with the appropriate
frame and immaculate packing. There was no room for errors or accidents. It
travelled well and such a long distance.

It feels so compensated that we have forgotten the loss of the first one you did for
us.

We wish you both the very best in all your projects. Hope to be back soon
again sometime.

I have been a Pet Artist painting quality pet portraits for over 30 years. Along with my husband John we have an Art Gallery & also a Bespoke Picture Framing Service in Exton in Rutland, the smallest county in the United Kingdom.

Born in Harrogate North Yorkshire

I was born in Harrogate in North Yorkshire and started my career as a Pet Artist painting Pet Portraits on my father's Farm, at Cold Overton near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, after leaving Loughborough Art College in 1984.
I have a long history of artists in my family line. My mother studied at the Harrogate School of Art. In the second World War she was a red cross nurse and she sketched and painted many scenes from that era and time depicting the life and activities of ordinary people at their workplace i.e. nursing, fire service, trams and dockyard scenes etc.

International Artist

I love painting pet portraits & I am very passionate about my work. My aim is to achieve the best quality pet portraits that have a realistic likeness to your animal. I have been commissioned from all over the UK and many commissions abroad. I am very happy to take on international commissions and have recently shipped four paintings to Alaska.
I was once commissioned by Sir Henry Tate to paint the Cottesmore Hunt opening meet at Preston Lodge. I am also an accomplished architectural, landscape and floral painter.
