What a beautiful horse to paint!!
I really enjoyed this commission. My career in horse portraiture began in the 80’s. This portrait is painted in gouache watercolour, giving a lovely velvet texture to the coat of the horse. I paint with either bridle in or out as the customer requires, I personally feel that the bridle enhances the painting. Full body horse portraiture is also an option, with or without a personalised background, ie, home, farm, woodland or familiar landscape.
We also frame if the customer wishes having a wide choice of bespoke frames in our arsenal.

This Horse Portrait I painted above was mounted and framed at our picture framing workshop in Rutland. It was then posted to Frimley in Surrey via Parcel Force 24.
